Guillermo Von Breymann

Guillermo brings over 55 years of experience in strategic consultancy, banking, and entrepreneurial development, with a career built around projects that have helped define Costa Rica's modern economy. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from leading universities in the United States and the United Kingdom.

His career includes several landmark firsts: founding Costa Rica's first private bank and the Costa Rican Banking Association in the 1980s, co-founding CINDE — the private sector body repeatedly recognized by the United Nations as the world's top investment promotion agency — and leading the development of Costa Rica's largest mixed-use project, integrating retail, offices, and a luxury hotel.

He has served on corporate boards and business chambers, represented Costa Rica internationally — at times with the rank of Special Ambassador — and remains active in the development of hospitality and residential projects in Costa Rica and abroad.

Associate Representative

Alfred D. DeCuir

One of the services Panorama provides to clients interested in hospitality development projects includes identifying sources of debt and equity capital needed for the acquisition and development of these projects.

In most cases, it will be necessary for the principals of the sponsor group to have available a minimum amount of capital and liquidity, plus the basic elements of a financial informational package that we can review and then present to prospective capital sources for their participation.

Panorama may then provide both the leveraged equity and senior financing requirements needed for the construction phase of a project, and, in some cases, potential JV partners willing to supply the economic strength necessary for a project but lacking in the sponsor’s profile.

Heading this area of Panorama’s client services is Al DeCuir, a long-time associate of our company who resides in New Jersey, USA. Over the span of his 50-year career in corporate finance, Mr. DeCuir has held senior positions with Wall Street firms and elsewhere with total capital formation in excess of $15 billion dollars. He also has significant experience in real estate project finance both domestically and overseas.

His expertise in optimizing a project’s capital stack by employing sophisticated credit enhancement techniques can enable Panorama to move forward a client’s project that otherwise may have stalled.
