CANCUN, MEXICO
Cancun was the first Mexican resort city to be planned and developed by the Mexican Government’s development agency FONATUR.
Panorama undertook the role of consultant for a broad range of development and finance issues on behalf of the government.
The Cancun Master Plan created over 100,000 hotel rooms, a support city of 800,000 people, and the second largest contributor to the Mexican economy.
Panorama opened the first real estate office in the area, and owned hotels and other real estate in Cancun and the surrounding area.
THE LIGHTHOUSE, CAPE VERDE
A shopping and entertainment area with a featured hotel and casino, this project planned for Sal Island in the Cape Verde Islands is representative of the inventive nature of Panorama’s planners.
With no “downtown area,” the Light-house offered a magnetic tourist attraction.
CASTELAS, FRANCE
This project is a remarkable undertaking by French owners for a resort and retirement city on 1,323-hectares in SW France with hotel, golf, sport, hunting, fishing, commercial, residential and sport instructional components.
Panorama was engaged by the owners to complete all planning, engineering, economic and market feasibility studies as well as the architectural concept for this resort destination on one of the largest privately-owned sites in France.
IXTAPA, MEXICO
Ixtapa was the second master-planned resort community in Mexico in which Panorama participated in the developmental, finance and marketing effort.
The development included a hotel, a golf course, a marina and a residential component.
PLAYA SECRETA, EL SALVADOR
Playa Secreta is El Salvador’s first resort city.
At completion it will include 3,100 hotel rooms and 3,200 retirement and second homes, supported by a championship golf course, a branded tennis complex, an equestrian center, a cruise ship dock, two marinas, a substantial shopping and entertainment complex, and a reconstructed 17th century arts-oriented village.
HUNTSMAN SPRINGS, IDAHO, USA
This 1,350-acre private development in Driggs, Idaho faces the Grand Teton mountain range and is highlighted by an ultra-luxury hotel.
The 18-hole David McLay Kidd designed golf course has received numerous awards including, “the best residential course 2011” by Golf Weekly magazine.
MANZANILLO RESORT PAPAGAYO GUANACASTE, COSTA RICA
This project will focus on wellness and sustainability with substantial green areas included in the plan.
The property is situated on a fully-permitted parcel contiguous to world-famous Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo Resort and is the best available site for resort development in Costa Rica.
Phase I will feature 120 rooms and casitas built in a relaxed style of architecture, plus 50 villas and residential lots, all to be managed and branded by one of the finest up-market management organizations in the world.

Market studies confirm the appropriate level of development for this resort and residences as high-end to luxury, in line with new projects recently begun in Belize such as Six Senses and Four Seasons Resorts.
The Panorama plan emphasizes the expansive waterfront area including the use of a Crystal Lagoon and a Town Center action center, which will include restaurants, night life and shopping overlooking the small marina.
This urban district will surround a historic and protected Mayan ruins and walkway.
The overall plan for hotel units and residences include a number of accommodation types, including standard hotel rooms, waterfront cabana villas, sand beach cabana villas, houses and condominiums under an optional rental pool--a most creative seaside residential “walk to water” community.

On the South Bank of the River Thames stands the London Eye. With its panoramic views, the London Eye is currently Europe’s tallest observation wheel and the single most visited attraction in the United Kingdom.
Grant Leisure was commissioned by British Airways to provide the feasibility analysis, corporate hospitality and sponsorship program, and for an operating strategy for this iconic attraction.
OCEAN PARK, HONG KONG, CHINA
Grant Leisure was involved with the redevelopment of Ocean Park’s master plan following its first year of operation, presenting recommendations to stem declines in visitor numbers.
Recommendations included connecting various attractions with a funicular and improved cable car, which has heavily contributed to the park’s current success.
TOWER OF LONDON, LONDON, UK
Grant Leisure was retained by the Department of the Environment to improve income generation and provide operational planning for the Tower of London.
The resulting plan relocated usage areas, established a food service program, enhanced retail strategy and developed the operating parameters that as of today have been implemented in all Royal Palace properties.
FILM CITY, MARRAKESH, MOROCCO
The Morocco Film City is a 650-hectare, billion-dollar, mixed-use project featuring a fully operational film studio complex, cinematic theme park, luxury hotels, casino, commercial and retail space, golf, sports and leisure activities and a series of villas and residential units.
Grant Leisure assembled a world-class team for the concept design and feasibility study.
The project, shelved in 2009 because of the economic downturn, is now being revived.
