Maxwell Burgess
Hon. Maxwell Burgess JP is a Bermudian whose life of service; especially to his Country and People is unparalleled. Politically, Max has served as Senator, Member of Parliament, and Cabinet Minister of the Government of Bermuda. In his broader service to Bermuda, he was Chairman of Bermuda’s Tourism Board, sits on the Bermuda Deposit Insurance Corporation and currently chairs Bermuda’s Marine Resources Board.

In addition to his Public Service, Maxwell has created a diverse network in Bermuda’s business arenas and enjoys an unequalled knowledge of Bermuda’s Real Estate and Tourism industries.
Maxwell married his high school sweetheart Kathy, and their daughter Kim is a corporate compliance executive; a loving wife, and mother. When Maxwell is not managing projects, consulting with public officials, or supporting his beloved Bailey’s Bay cricket team, he can be found racing around trying to keep up with his energetic grandsons.
